This week, we've continued working on vocabulary for 'Ma Chambre'. Students completed the assignment "Voici Ma Chambre' and we did several listening activities/worksheets pertaining to the vocabulary. We also did a full lesson on the use of adjectives, and watched a travel video about Morocco (a French speaking region). We continued practicing conjugating ER verbs in the present tense. Many students were away at the tail end of the week, so we played many language games.

This past week, we've been working on conjugating the verbs 'être/aller/faire/avoir' in the present tense. We've been playing games and reviewing vocabulary for 'La Famille'. We also started making a Halloween book using French Halloween vocabulary and prepositions. There is no homework this weekend but I am still missing some of the following assignments:

• À L'école (OVERDUE)
• La Famille (OVERDUE)

Today, we had a verb quiz and practiced the verbs 'préférer' and 'acheter'. We also started our first vocabulary unit "Ma Chambre".  We did a game and some matching/listening practice. Students started the assignment "Voici Ma Chambre", which we'll continue next class.

Students have been continuing to review basic vocabulary. We've completed the first review booklet, and a booklet on school items. We've also started working on verbs in the present tense and we will finish off the week by reviewing terms for family members.

 Bonjour French 9!

It's been nice getting to know everyone the past two weeks:) We've spent most of the time reviewing basics (numbers, days, months, weather, colours) and working through a review booklet. We've also been playing several language games. Make sure to have your guardians sign your course outlines and bring them back:)

Bienvenue French 10! It was nice to meet everyone this week. We've spent the week going over the course outline, getting to know one another, playing some language games and reviewing basic (but essential) vocabulary in French, such as colours, numbers, dates, days, weeks, months and weather. We also started to review conjugation of verbs in the present tense. We made it through our first week - félicitation!!!
