For the past few weeks, we finished a unit reviewing basic intro vocabulary and French vocabulary for fall/Halloween. Students wrote a test last week for this. We are continuing to work on 'ER' Verbs this week, and we started a unit on Music. I was away Friday, and the class watched a video on Belgium, as we explore regional variations in French. Here are instructions on how to access the video from the school Wifi network if you were away: 

  1. Go to https://revelstokesecondary.sd19.bc.ca/ 
  2. Go to the tab : STAFF and click on RSS DIGITAL MEDIA 
  3. Scroll down and click on the red icon RSS STREAMING LIBRARY 
  4. Where it says ‘login information’ don’t enter a password, just click ‘ok’ 
  5. On the top right of twonky page, click on ‘video’ 
  6. On the left margin, click on ‘Folder’ and Select ‘French’ 
  7. Click on the ‘Globetrekker’ File 
  8. Click on “Belgium and Luxemburg’

C'est la semaine de l"Halloween! Amusez-vous!!!

I apologize for not posting on the blog in a while. However, as the first term is wrapping up (Nov.10), I want to make sure students are aware of some upcoming deadlines. This week, we will be reviewing vocabulary for our unit "Ma Chambre", doing some French Halloween vocabulary activities, finishing off 'RE' verbs and reviewing prepositions and adjectives. I have attached a copy of the test outline to this post.
